Result: 5 to 16 % increase in output with two main products along with achieving required blaine generation.
Client had complaint of poor blaine generation after converting their mill into monochamber design. VEGA advised introducing a retainer ring with suitable
partition of the grinding length.
The mills were in operation with two chamber and converted into monochamber with expectation of the improvement in the mill performance. After conversion of mills into monochamber design, mill output dropped, and Blaine generation also decreased.
VEGA audited mill internals and connected dryer for possible improvement in the mill performance. After analysis of drying chamber performance, mill internals design and various sample results; VEGA advised to introduce a retainer ring with suitable partition of the mill chamber. After introducing retainer ring, mill performance improved by 8 to 16% (Product-1) and 5 to 10% (Product-2) with desired blaine generation.
